Kerrie—

I’ve been working with Aris doing some at home training. It’s been really great because he helped me sort what I could do with what I have at home, what’s worth purchasing and not, and has also been very patient and cool during my quarantined and listless/lost/disoriented/out of sorts phase, helping me identify the small do-able steps that can move me forward. He’s smart, thoughtful, and knows his stuff.

Aris's exceptional knowledge of body mechanics and keen eye for detail makes him a phenomenal coach for all levels of fitness. From my experience, Aris's specialty is that he has no specialty-no matter what goal you are trying to reach, he knows just how to get you there. As former co-workers, I have seen Aris work with individuals ranging in athleticism from high level competitors to individuals simply trying to regain healthy movement, all of which he has lead to success.

Currently, I am working with Aris remotely in attempt to increase strength after reaching a plateau, and the program he formulated for me seems to be exactly what I needed to push me to the next level. Aris undeniably has a unique talent, and he is truly is a needle in the fitness industry haystack. If you want real results through smart programming and correct movement, you need Aris!

Smart, focused, and dedicated are three words that immediately come to mind when I think of Aris as a trainer. When he works with you he really focuses on the whole. It’s not just about what you do in the gym but what you do the other 23 hours you’re not working out such as your job or other hobbies. For example, other than power lifting 3-4 times a week, I also do pole fitness around 1-3x/week, and I have a full time desk job. Aris knew all this and would create programs that would not only focus on building strength but creating a balance between strength and flexibility.

Lastly, his ability to breakdown a movement and walk you through a process to understand how the body works and how to use that to your advantage is rare. With his combination of education and experience, as well as his intelligence, focus and dedication, Aris is, no doubt, a highly qualified trainer who will work hard to get you towards your goals, while also working with you where you are at.

Aris is a fantastic coach who excels in providing programming/coaching that can help you achieve any fitness related goals you set for yourself. Before I started taking powerlifting seriously, I was mindlessly lifting and on the verge of injuring myself the way I was approaching my lifts. With his help I increased my squat by 100lbs from 500 lbs to 600lbs. I benched a state record of 420 and my weakest lift, my deadlift has improved tremendously. Most importantly, I'm lifting more effectively, wiser and safer. His extensive knowledge of fitness is rare, he's one of the very few people I would ask for advice/opinions when it comes to lifting or fitness in general . His programming is designed to where you are training smart yet effectively. If you're looking for a coach who knows what they're doing and isn't going to give you some copy and paste crap and will actually help you become overall stronger then look no further.

I had a previous back issue that had been recently aggravated after a visit to a chiropractor.  I became very fearful of working out, especially if it involved my back.  The gym owner recommended I work with Aris especially for this problem.  When he asked what my goals were (to get my abs stronger and to deadlift 200#), not only did he not laugh but said, "You can do that!" (referring to my deadlift goal).  Being an "older client" (in my 60's), I didn't know how this training would go as I had struggled to DL at 185#.  Aris was able to develop a program that not only strengthened my back, but eliminated my fear, giving me confidence I could train without injury.  I not only met my goal of deadlifting 200#, but a few months later I lifted 220# in a meet for a PR.  The best thing about that lift: the confidence I felt going into it.  I listened to him, did what he said during the workouts and realized I was no longer afraid of injuring my back.  I gained a respect for the lifts, and for Aris.   For believing in me that "I can do that!" I will always be grateful.  I was able to reach my goal because of Aris's skill and knowledge.  He is able to work with a variety of clients with a myriad of goals (from national powerlifting contenders to older clients just wanting to be able to stand up from a chair unaided).  You cannot help but improve with Aris as your coach.

Jill—

In an industry filled with ‘fitness experts’ I find that it is increasingly difficult to seek out coaches who are as knowledgeable in the art of lifting as they claim. As a powerlifter I have encountered several of these ‘experts’. For many of these, rather than an increase in strength I see only a high possibility of injury and advice being given based on very little formal education or experience. Because of this I am wary of taking coaching advice from anyone. When it comes to Aris’ coaching I am 100% confident that anything presented to me will only lead me to stronger and better lifts. His knowledge on lifting spans every component imaginable. This allows for programming that is designed specifically for YOUR goals and to work on YOUR weakness rather than a blanket programming guide made and sent out to hundreds of people. While training with Aris' coaching and programming I have been able to dramatically improve in my powerlifting. One my greatest achievements is that with his coaching I am now able to deadlift pain free which is something that plagued me for years. As a competitive powerlifter, I highly recommend his programming and coaching.

Johnnie—

I felt very confident that Aris knew what he was doing and I trusted the information that he gave me.  He was meticulous  and well prepared.  I can usually tell when someone doesn't know what they are talking about and are trying to bs their way through a situation.  I never had that experience with him.

I've worked with other trainers before.  Within a few minutes I can tell if they are competent.  I also gauge if they are actually listening to the feedback I am giving them.  Aris’ programs always reflected the goals that we discussed.  Knowing that he was paying attention added to my comfort with him and increased my confidence in him.
